Music lovers are in for a treat on Thursday, 13 March 2025 at the Steenberg Jazz Evening – an evening of smooth jazz, memorable dining, and breathtaking scenery in the Constantia Valley.
Set in the historic werf area among the heritage buildings of Tryn restaurant and the Steenberg Hotel, concert goers can enjoy the soulful sounds of the Shaun Johannes Trio as the sun sets and the stars emerge. With a lineup of world-class musicians, including pianist Andrew Ford and drummer/vocalist Carl ‘China’ Van Rensburg, the evening promises a fusion of jazz classics and contemporary tunes.
Guests can customise their experience with different ticket options:
· Alfresco picnic box for two – R 795.00 per couple (food only, purchase concert tickets separately), or
· A luxurious picnic – R 1200.00 per couple (includes picnic and concert tickets), or
· An elegant three-course dinner at Tryn – R 850.00 per person (includes concert ticket).
· Enjoy the concert – only R300.00 per person.
· No charge for children under two years of age.
If you choose the picnic option, bring your own blankets, cushions and throws. You are welcome to bring outdoor chairs, to be seated on the perimeter of the lawn.
To complete the evening, Steenberg’s award-winning wines and beverages will be available for purchase, with food vendors on-site to offer additional treats. No BYO (bring your own).
