Clifford, the big red dog is a delightful family movie, based on the animated series of the same name.
It follows the story of a young girl called Emily Elizabeth Howard, who has some difficulties at school with a bully, after discovering that she attends the affluent school on a scholarship.
Her mom has to leave Emily with her very unreliable uncle to go on a work trip. This relationship is tested and grows throughout the movie.
A very sad Emily encounters a little red puppy, who was adopted by a magical exotic animal rescuer. She then finds the puppy in her backpack after school and the following morning, the little puppy is gigantic, eventually wreaking havoc on the streets of New York.
The story takes a few surprise turns when the owner of a large corporation insists that Clifford belongs to him, all the while keeping the audience captivated.
If you’re an animal lover, this is a must see, feel good movie.
