Welcome to Haddonfield and enjoy the slaughter. Picking up immediately after the events of 2018’s Halloween, Michael Myers continues his slaughter of the town’s hapless population. While Laurie Strode is recovering in hospital, the Haddonfield community goes full-on lynch-mob determined to ensure that “Evil dies tonight”. But, as we know, the best-laid plans of mice and men often go awry, and it’s no exception here. Hunters and innocents are brutally picked off one by one by the William Shatner masked one. Halloween Kills offers nothing new other than to fill the gap till what will hopefully be the concluding chapter with Halloween Ends in 2022. Go to see the kills, but be prepared as this is a rather lacklustre entry into the series.
