Jennifer Lopez and Owen Wilson make for a lovely pigeon pair in this light and frothy rom-com. Wilson’s math’s teacher is literally plucked out of a crowd my mega pop star Lopez. What follows is a pleasant enough exploration of their blossoming relationship. I didn’t expect to like this movie and in all honesty I went looking for things to nit-pick. But like The Grinch that stole Christmas my heart was won over by the chemistry of the leads. It doesn’t offer anything new, but it is an enjoyable 112 minutes of romance, music and laughter.
