On 30 November 2023, Whale Coast Mall had the official launch of the Phase 2 additions. The vision with this project was to expand the mall with fantastic offerings that met the needs of the surrounding community and added to the existing vibrant tenant mix.

The mall offers shoppers the only multipurpose cinema, Whale Coast Theatre, which is owned by Dorpstraat Properties – with a special beanbag theatre for the mall’s younger audience.
To further complement the retail offering, there is ample free parking and the restroom facilities include disabled, baby-changing and family facilities to cater to all customer needs.
