Introducing THE ZA Pinotage 2024 The Collector’s Release, the inaugural edition of a unique annual collection from La Petite Ferme, bringing together South African wine, art and heritage.

Only 866 bottles – never to be repeated

Crafted from old-vine Pinotage grown in Piekenierskloof, Citrusdal and shaped by winemaker Wikus Pretorius, THE ZA reflects the character of its vineyard and La Petite Ferme’s four decades of boutique winemaking.

But what makes this first edition truly special is what surrounds the wine.

Each of the 866 bottles is individually numbered and signed by Pretorius. The original label, created by emerging South African artist Jolien Koen, celebrates our country’s landscapes, plants, birds, soil and vines. Her design was selected from 13 final-year Illustration students at the Stellenbosch Academy of Design & Photography, making THE ZA a celebration of both exceptional winemaking and the next generation of South African creative talent.

And this is only the beginning. Every future vintage will introduce a new wine, a new artist and an original label.
